FESTÁL

Festál, a series of cultural community festivals, is dedicated to the celebration of Seattle's rich ethnic heritage and diverse peoples.  From the French word meaning "festive," it's a year-round celebration of traditions, arts, performance, history, culture, and foods that enrich our community.   From an Arab marketplace, Vietnamese lion dance, Filipino lumpia and Italian grape stomp to inspiring performances of African-American gospel, Tibetan opera and Brazilian samba, Seattle Center's Festál is home to a rich cultural crossroads, celebrating diverse communities.

Seattle Center's Festál is a year-long series of world cultural events that honors the richness and diversity of our region. Festál plays a vital part of Seattle Center's role in connecting our dynamic and varied community.

This collection of events is produced by Seattle Center and individual cultural organizations, and is presented by The Seattle Times with generous support from The Boeing Company and Seattle Center Fund. Additional support provided by the City of Seattle and 4 Culture.
